Dog Harnesses

Harnesses have become the default walk gear for many owners, and they are a core line in Hellomoon's leads family. We present harness styles for everyday walking — including the no-pull designs many customers ask for by name — for wholesale orders.

Why harnesses sell

A harness spreads pressure across the chest and shoulders instead of the neck, which is why owners of puppies, small breeds and strong pullers so often choose one. For retailers, harnesses are a fitting-led sale: the stores that measure dogs and stock a sensible size spread take the category's margin, while stores that guess at sizes take its returns.

The range

Harnesses sit in the leads family alongside collars and leashes. The current selection covers everyday walking styles, including the harness designs sold under the no-pull name — attachment configuration is confirmed per item on quotation. Styles, colours and size runs rotate with new arrivals — Hellomoon reports around 120 new arrivals every two weeks across the catalogue — so the current selection is confirmed when you enquire.

Fit is the product

A harness only works if it fits: too loose and a dog can back out of it; too tight and it chafes. Our harness fitting guide explains how to measure a dog for a harness and how the two-finger check works, and the harness vs collar comparison helps staff advise customers who are undecided.

Ordering

Send an enquiry with the size spread your market needs — puppy and small-dog sizes move differently from large-breed sizes — and pricing, materials and packing will be confirmed per item on quotation.

Harnesses and the training conversation

A harness is equipment, not training — a point honest retailers make and good suppliers support. What a well-fitted harness does is change the mechanics of the walk: pressure moves off the throat, the handler gains steering, and daily walks become calmer to manage while training does its slower work. Stores that sell harnesses with that framing — plus the two-minute fitting — see fewer returns and more referrals than stores that sell them as a cure for pulling.

If your market includes many first-time dog owners, consider making the harness your flagship fitting service: measure every puppy, record the size, and invite the owner back as the dog grows. The harness they outgrow is the smallest part of what that household will buy from you.
